Review: This is my first year using the storage in Pittsboro. The facility manger Kerri Acosta been so helpful with our move in and the last 6 month. The room is clean and dry which is the my big concern for the furniture storage. I also impressed by the community help during the last devastated storm in west of the state.I wish all the best to this small business.

Review: I moved back to Chapel Hill 5 years ago and into a very small garage apartment I needed a place to store my excess stuff. I shopped around and used two other storage facilities until I found American Self Storage and more importantly Kerri. She has been the heart and soul of the company and has helped me in more ways than I can count.She has been the consummate professional in every way and I totally appreciate her attention to detail and kindness that is her trademark.The facility has been a blessing because the area I use is climate controlled and I store items there that too much or too little heat or too much humidity would destroy so it’s a blessing to have a safe place to keep things that I hope to use in the future.Highly recommended and worth the drive!

Review: Liars tell you anything to get the contract signed! James at your Knightdale, NC facility promised Oct rent free and half off Nov & Dec. for a facility in Pittsboro NC. We were promised a storage close to door bc fiance has a bad back. Nope, his actual storage was a long walk to other side of building.He assured us 69 plus 12 dollars would be amount charged on card. His card was charged more than double that. SHAME ON YOU.

Review: American Self Storage has been the best facility I have used. They are quick to respond to questions or issues, offer a free moving truck to move in, they have many different choices to fit all of your needs and they do regular inspections to ensure the security of your unit. We left ours unlocked at one point and they notified me immediately and placed a temporary lock on the unit until we were able to come by and replace it. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10 times.
